17th Annual Parental Alienation Awareness Day!
Apr 24, 2022"A bunch of angry men holding up signs!"
This is what a friend told me he saw one day while driving.
I have never actually seen any guys holding up the signs, however, I've seen photos posted on Facebook. Men holding up signs on the side of the road, outside a mall, or over a bridge saying things like, ‘Parental Alienation is a Crime.’ ‘Stop the War on Children.’ ‘Every Child Deserves Their Parents.’
Do these signs achieve anything? Who of the public takes notice? Do they take any action?
I'm curious to know your thoughts, do you think holding these signs does anything?
25th April is Parental Alienation Awareness Day. 25th April is also Anzac Day in Australia, so may not be the best day for this. Either way, let's all do something to spread the word.
How about this? Gather with a group of people somewhere that will get attention. Perhaps outside a court building, a park, or an outdoor mall. For at least ten minutes, blow bubbles in honour of all the children who should be allowed to love and be loved by both parents without fear or guilt.
Buy some big bubble wands ($.50 in Kmart). Get little bubble containers (also available at Kmart $5.5/24 pack) to hand out to any kids who want to blow bubbles with you. A group of ten grown men blowing bubbles in a public space will get attention. And if you get kids to join you, you will end up in lots of photos. People will ask what you are doing. You can say, “I don't get to see my kids, so I am blowing them bubbles of love.”
Make a sign or two ‘Bubbles of love for all the alienated children.’
This is not my idea. You can read more about this https://www.bubblesofloveday.
Overall, I believe a group of men blowing bubbles would achieve more than holding up a sign. You get the attention of parents by getting their children’s attention.
You get media attention by doing something interesting and different.
